Golden Dust Day Gecko in Hilo
Today was the first time that I saw a golden dust day gecko in Hilo . I wanted to share this with everyone as they are an invasive species that came to Hawaii as pets and eventually became established first in Kona. It was crawling around the side of my house so I took a couple of pictures and posted them. They’re actually quite attractive, but don’t get too close to these guys because they have a mean bite. Have you seen any invasive species in your neighborhood lately?
